Tory shows his allegiance

Rochdale-born Stuart Bithell, our hopeful in the men’s 470 sailing, will battle for Gold in their final medal race against Australia
Euro MP Paul Nuttall has hit out at a fellow North West MEP for using the Olympics to promote the EU.
Tory Sajjad Karim has listed on his Facebook page, under the EU flag, the numbers of medals won by European athletes.
"Does Karim really think that athletes from France, Germany, Ireland etc. are doing it for Brussels? Of course not. So what on earth gives him the idea that our Olympic heroes are doing it for the EU?"
"This just shows that on Europe the Tories speak with forked tongue, they pretend to be working for Britain, but in private they are wholehearted supporters of the EU".
"Chorley's Bradley Wiggins, Colne's Steven Burke, Bolton's Jason Kenny, Bunbury's Beth Tweddle, Crewe's Shaznee Read competed for our country, for Team GB, and it is rather sad to see a politician from the North West suggesting otherwise", said Mr Nuttall,, UKIP MEP.
"If he had even queried the image that would be fine, but posting it without comment just beggars belief," he added.
