Hamer Community Primary School

Although we did not win the Pennine in Bloom competition this year, to complete the hat trick, our entries were highly commended. We fully embrace the Jubilee Theme and our Foundation children and Mrs. Cunnew worked extremely hard on the fabulous creations submitted.

Due to the unseasonably wet (!!) weather our Sports Days has been rescheduled. We are hoping (all fingers crossed) to have some sort of sports activities this week. We will keep you informed of dates and times etc.

Your child’s teacher will be in touch with you this week with details of dates and times for parent consultations. These will be taking place before the end of term and will give you an opportunity to discuss your child’s attainment, progress, attendance, attitude and behaviour.

In addition to transition from Reception to Year 6 our new Nursery Children came into School on Monday 2 July. It was lovely to welcome the very youngest additions to our school community and look forward to them joining us again in September!
