This week’s theme was ‘The Sacrament of Healing’ and our Enterprise capability was RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS. This half-term’s focus is REFLECTION AND EVALUATION.

We welcomed our new Year 7 learners into school on Tuesday – it was very exciting for us to be able to show you some of the activities you will be doing in September – we look forward to seeing you then.

We said a formal good bye to our Year 11 learners on Monday, with the annual prom being a spectacular success. Many thanks to Mrs Walsh and Mrs Egerton for all the time and effort in preparing for the event, and of course to all our Year 11 students who made the evening such a wonderful memory for everyone.

Thank you to Mr Riley for organising the Science and Technology Day for Year Nine Students. Also, thank you to Miss Buffel for organising the Year 7 Spelling Bee – pupils can listen to this on our school radio station.

‘Year 7 Attendance Challenge’ - Well done to Mrs Davies and form 7.7 with a weekly attendance of 7.8% and congratulations to Mara Tavares, form 7.9, our weekly attendance winner.

Locker keys should now have been returned to Mrs Rushton, any keys not now returned will result in the loss of deposit and items left in lockers disposed of. A reminder: converse / trainers are not acceptable footwear for school.

Diary Dates: A-level results are available for collection by students on Thursday 16 August from 9.00am. GCSE results are available for collection by students on Thursday 23 August from 9.00am. Year 10 Modular GCSE results may also be collected by students from 11.00am. If not, they will be given out to students in September. Thank you.
