School Meals The cost of a school meal will be increased by 5 pence to £1.85 per meal with effect from 5 September 2012. The cost per week will be £9.25. This increase is in line with other schools in Rochdale and at the request of the Local Authority.

Reports will be sent home on 6 July 2012 All the children will be given their annual written report in a sealed envelope to bring home to you on 6 July. With the report is a letter with a reply slip for comments from both your child and yourself. When these comments are returned they are very useful in two ways – 1. they are added to the records on your child maintained in the school and 2. I use them as part of the evaluation of the reporting process. Please try to return yours.

Your child’s possessions in school at the end of the school year All the children have been reminded to take home their belongings they no longer need in school i.e. books, coats, shoes, lunchboxes at the end of the school year. If left in school they will be disposed of immediately.

School clothes for next year Please can I urge you to make sure these are labelled with your child’s name. It is quite amazing how many are not labelled, leaving school staff the unenviable task of trying to decide which item belongs to whom! PE kit is white T-shirt, black shorts, slip on pumps in a PUMP BAG. These are available from school. Also please ensure lunch boxes are clearly labelled.

Parent questionnaires Many thanks to those of you who have returned the questionnaire about school – your answers are very useful to us. If you have not returned your questionnaire please do so in the next few days. Thank you.
