Thank you to all our Year 6 children and parents who attended the Intake Evening in preparation for September. Please ensure you apply for your ‘i-go bus pass’ in plenty of time ready for September – application forms can be downloaded form the TfGM website.

We had a wonderful evening of Expressive Art celebrations on Thursday, with a GCSE Art Exhibition followed by our annual Summer Concert. Congratulations to all of our artists, soloists, duets and groups who displayed excellent performances and thank you to everyone who attended.

Well done to form 7.6, with a weekly attendance of 100%. Locker keys should now have been returned to Mrs Rushton.

Study rooms are available for all students who are not in a timetabled GCSE or A level exam. Please note the paved area around the back of the sports hall is not available at breaks and lunch times during the exam period – pupils may only use the senior yard, all weather pitch and fields for playing ball games.

This week’s theme was ‘Making a Sacrifice’ and our Enterprise capability was RISK. This half-term’s focus for Year 7 is REFLECTION AND EVALUATION.

Diary Dates:

A-level results are available for collection by students on Thursday 16 August from 9.00am.

GCSE results are available for collection by students on Thursday 23 August from 9.00am.

Year 10 Modular GCSE results may also be collected by students from 11.00am. If not, they will be given out to students in September. Thank you.
