The walking group will meet at church at 1.00pm (after lunch) on Saturday 30 June for a walk in Calderdale, starting in the centre of Ripponden, and including the villages of Millbank and Cottonstones, returning along the old railway line (further information from Helen on 649015).

All are welcome to join us for morning service at 10.30am on Sunday 1 July. This is General Assembly Sunday, an opportunity for us to celebrate being part of the wider Unitarian movement in the UK, and to acknowledge the benefits we receive from membership. The GA works to develop ministry, promotes RE and provides a youth programme, represents us internationally, provides website and publicity material, offers financial and legal advice, and organises the national annual meetings.

Wednesday 4 July is the first Wednesday of the month, which means the Wednesday Tea at 4.30 pm, followed by Stitch 'n' Chatter from 5.15 pm - 6.45 pm, and the Women's League meeting at 7 pm which this month takes the form of an outing to visit Irene Scowcroft's Garden (further information from Margaret on 852575).

The modern sequence dance start at 7.15pm on Saturday 7 July. The whist drive starts at 6.45pm (further information from Eunice on 643319).

Join us again for morning service led by our minister, Rev Gillian Peel, at 10.30am on Sunday 8 July.

A date for your diary - the Women's League Project Lunch will be held on Saturday 14 July, starting at 11.45am. This year's project is Send a Child to Hucklow (SaCH), a Trust which arranges and administers holidays at the Unitarian Holiday Centre, Great Hucklow, Derbyshire for groups of disadvantaged children, having no regard to religious, political, racial and other considerations. This year is the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Trust, and the aim is to raise £50,000 during the year. (Further information at http://www.sendachildtohucklow.org.uk) Tickets can be booked via Margaret (852575) or Eunice (643319).
