RBH representative body ballot: Voting now open for members

Date published: 18 June 2012

The ballot period for RBH’s first ever Representative Body elections has now opened.

Over 2000 members of RBH will be given the opportunity to cast their vote for their chosen candidate on the Representative Body.

RBH’s new model is already attracting interest from far and wide as the first of its kind in the housing sector.

RBH is now embarking on a future that will see tenant and employee members take control as they decide who they want to steer the organisation forward on the Representative Body.

23 RBH tenant members and 11 employee members have put themselves forward to stand for election.

It is now up to RBH’s 1,753 strong tenant members to vote for who will take up the 15 places on the Representative Body reserved for tenant representatives whilst RBH’s 410 employee members will vote for who will take up the 8 places reserved for employee representatives.

All members will now be receiving their voting packs, which include statements from candidates.

The ballot will close at 12 noon on Friday, 6 July 2012 and all members are encouraged to use their vote to help shape the future of the new mutual RBH.
