Jubilee celebrations at St John with St Michael

The Mayor and Mayoress of Whitworth attended a Jubilee buffet lunch alongside children, staff, parents and friends of St John with St Michael School in Shawforth.
The dinner staff worked hard making a huge Jubilee cake and cupcakes.
Later in the day a Diamond Jubilee Tiara Tea Party Summer Fair was held. The children in years 5 and 6 were all allocated stalls, they made the signs for them and helped to run them.
Teacher Naomi Kenyon said: "The afternoon was a huge success and raised £620 for school funds."
