Man killed on M62

A man has been killed this evening (Tuesday 30 May) in an accident on the westbound carriageway of the M62 close to junction 20 (Rochdale/Oldham).
The accident involved a heavy goods vehicle and three cars.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Another man, 27, was airlifted to Wythenshawe Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
There are currently delays of 15 minutes. Normal traffic conditions expected from 11:00pm.
