Looking Local Launch - Zac with a smartphone
RBH celebrated the launch of their Digital TV & Mobile Services at the Property Shop at the Old Post Office in Rochdale.
As part of the showcase, RBH employees were on hand to give tutorials and guide customers and housing applicants on how to access and best use the Looking Local service.
The Digital TV channel means there isn’t need for any computer equipment as the service can be accessed with just the click of a remote control button. Looking Local offers a range of services to its users. For example, anyone searching for a new home can now view properties and express an interest for properties 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the comfort of their armchair.
However, for those who do have internet access, Looking Local can also be accessed via the internet or by downloading a free Smartphone app which is available to iphone and Android customers. Just search ‘lookinglocal’.
Project Manager, Tony Lafferty said: "RBH Digital Services will help us deliver information and services in new and exciting ways that suit our tenants and members. It doesn't matter if you're a whiz with technology or struggling to find your way through the maze, our Digital Services can be accessed in a way that suits you: the information and services are the same but you choose how to access it.
"The event was really well attended and the response to our new digital services was very positive. I would like to thank everyone who came along and helped make the event so special. “
Photos of the event will soon be available on Looking Local.
Technically speaking, you don’t have to even be able to count to three – just remember the ‘quick code’ which is 724: RBH on your remote!
