Cheerleaders compete at the UKCA Nationals

Cheerleading club, Boro Cheer, attended the United Kingdom Cheerleading Association Nationals 2012 at the Manchester Velodrome and their senior team, the Boro Babes, came first in their category.
The under 9s team, the Boro Babettes, came fifth in their category. The under 15s team, the Dale Diamonds, came third in their category.
Teams performed routines in front of the judges, cheerleading stunts, gymnastics, dance, cheer jumps, etc.
Tracey Ray, Dance Tutor/Cheerleading Coach, said: "Our teams desreve recognition for thier hard work. We are really proud of them."
Boro Cheer, train at Wardle High School Dance Studio weekly. Ages range from 4 to 20.
