What’s been happening this week:

Congratulations to Year 1. They had 100% Attendance this week AND every child was in school on time!

Everyone needs to follow this very good example.

Congratulations also to our Year 3 pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Sacred Heart and St Patrick’s church. They all received a beautiful certificate at Golden Book assembly on Friday.

Year 5 were wonderful ambassadors for Alice Ingham School when they attended a ‘Meet the Pioneers’ day at Rochdale Town Hall this week. This is the beginning of the work we will be doing across the school to celebrate the International Year of the Co operative Movement which started in Rochdale.

The Alice Ingham Choir will be performing at St Patrick’s School Fair on Sunday at St Patrick’s school hall. Everyone is invited to attend the Fair.

Gardening help needed
Can you offer an hour or so to dig over a few flower beds to help the children get ready for planting, please offer if you can, don’t leave it to someone else, there usually isn’t, someone else.
