This week’s theme was Our Church and The Ten Commandments. Our Enterprise capability was Communication.

The Year 7 Olympic Art project has begun in school. Small groups have been given an Olympic venue for which they are creating a piece of art work.

Examples underway are of life size models of athletes made from chicken wire and mod roc, to be suspended from a stadium ceiling, large painted canvasses and scaled down models of actual venues! Our final display will be in T7 when we will open it up to classes to visit.

Homework club is open at 1.30 each lunch time in L3 with Mrs Whitmore and Mrs Rushton and Year 7 learners can now enjoy St Cuthbert's daily radio broadcast each lunchtime in the year 7 area. A reminder that late detentions and smart card detentions are now served after school, this is in line with whole school procedures.

The facilities in our Partnership Learning Centre are available for all parents and local businesses who wish to produce resources or develop their own learning. Please speak to Louise Moore for details (01706 647761).
