Healey Foundation Primary School

Next week is a very important week, especially in Year 6.

The end Key Stage 2 assessments are taking place for the whole class. The children have been well prepared and have nothing to worry about, all they will need are early nights and a quick flick through their revision books each evening. The tests are sent away for marking so we will not know the results until July.

Please ensure that the children are in school on time and that there are no days taken off. Years 3, 4 and 5 will also be completing their assessments over the next two weeks. The music lesson EXCEPT FOR GUITARS are cancelled for the SATs week. Guitar group on Wednesday after school with Mr Woodworth will continue as normal.

The trips to the Middleton CLC to make Jubilee Souvenirs are going well, the children are making some lovely items that they should treasure for many years to come. Year 1 will be taking their trip there on Monday and will be staying all day. A packed lunch will be provided by school for all children who take a school meal.

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday:
Reception Abhijeet Das

Year 1 Madeleine Kelsey – Lyon

Year 2 Elysia McKenzie – Cobb

Year 3 Ewan Watson

Year 4 Monica Mohammed

Year 5 Cristian Soare

Year 6 Christopher Hoyle

Attendance was very good, Year 5 managed 99.3% and overall school attendance was 97.4%
