Very severe congestion on M62 (J20/21) due to accident blocking westbound carriageway
Motorists are advised to avoid the M62 if possible due to a 3/4 car/lorry collision on the westbound carriageway between junction 21 (Rochdale) and junction 20 (Milnrow).
The westbound carriageway was blocked and closed to traffic, however, the carriageway has now been reopened (3.30pm), but there is very severe congestion in both directions.
There were no serious injuries.
