Congratulations to our Drama club on their wonderful performance at Monday morning assembly.
We are looking forward to the other clubs presenting their work as the term progresses.
Reception class are planting seeds, looking at Life Cycles and watching their caterpillars grow.
They are also practising the language of addition and adding two numbers together.
Year 1 are looking at houses and homes of Native North American Indians and making modern day Totem Poles.
Year 2 are finding out about the animals who live in the African Savanna and starting their African drumming workshops.
Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed their visit to M6 Theatre to see Sheds and Sunflowers.
Year 3 are researching all the British Kings and Queens. They are learning about fractions and practising their report writing.
Congratulations to our two Year 3 pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday.
Year 4 are painting their handmade Divali lamps and making a film of the story of Rama and Sita. This is all part of their ‘A Taste of India’ topic. They are all enjoying their Monday Cricket lessons with year 5.
Year 5 are writing letters and diary entries and calculating the fraction of whole numbers. They are designing and making a class kite, ask your children about this!
Year 6 are continuing to revise and practise for SATs in 2 weeks time.
A reminder, that every pupil MUST be in school and on time during the week commencing Monday 14 May.
They are also designing a CD cover and a Skateboard using their Graffiti art skills.
Thank you to parents/carers from Year 1 and Year 3 who came into school this week to find out about our new Online Reading Project. This is another great opportunity for children and parents to read together, online.
Pupils are rehearsing their entries for the Auditions for the forthcoming I’m a Star Talent Show which is taking place Wed 20 June at 1.30pm.

A reminder that school is closed on Monday 7 May for the Bank Holiday. School re opens on Tuesday at 8.55am prompt.
