Students from Falinge Park High School are taking to the stage to perform at the Future Perfect Festival at the Castlefield Outdoor Arena, Manchester.
Sara Hadfield, recent winner of the Arnold James Trophy for Pop Vocals, has been attending the after-school songwriting workshop for over two years, and has penned many original compositions including two new songs for performance at the Festival.
Michael Dalby, workshop leader, said: "We are all very proud of Sara. Not only is she a talented young songwriter and musician, she is also a very polite, hard-working student and an excellent role model to her peers, a joy to work with."
Sara will be joined on stage by fellow students, Aliyyah Ashiq (Keyboard), Jack Beazley (Drums), and Cameron Miller (Lead Guitar.)
The Future Perfect Festival is an arts against cancer charity festival, and last year boasted the headline act of Russell Howard, TV comedian.
The Falinge Park Songwriting Group will kick-off proceedings on the Beach Stage at 12:15pm.
