Drop-in support sessions announced for Rochdale entrepreneurs

Date published: 28 October 2024

NatWest and EnterprisingYou have partnered up to deliver drop-in business support sessions in Rochdale designed to assist local entrepreneurs and small business owners. These sessions will provide expert advice and signposting to help businesses thrive in today’s competitive market.

The drop-in sessions are open to all local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Participants don’t have to be NatWest customers; all you need to do is visit your local branch for more details.

Craig Wood, local director North Manchester and Lancashire, retail banking, NatWest, said: “Small businesses are at the heart of Greater Manchester’s economy, and we recognise the important role they play in communities across the region.

“We also know that by working with GM Business Growth Hub across our branch network, we are better placed to support new businesses to scale and grow.”

The drop ins sessions are on every 2nd Thursday of the month at the NatWest branch on Town Hall Square, Rochdale, OL16 1LL (please refer to the link below). There’s no need to book in advance, simply drop in on the designated day.

EnterprisingYou is GM Business Growth Hub’s tailored support for those ready to start a business or established self-employed individuals, freelancers and gig economy workers in Greater Manchester.

Yvonne Sampson, head of enterprise at GM Business Growth Hub said: "Working with NatWest to deliver expert business support in branch just makes sense.

"GM Business Growth Hub has been supporting the community of Rochdale for over a decade, offering a range of advice and support to individuals and businesses, and this partnership is a great next step.

“Our commitment to local businesses is at the heart of everything we do. And we’re excited to be bringing our support right to those that need it.”
