Event: Remembrance Sunday Parade

DETAILS:

Representatives from the Navy, Army and Royal Air Force will join veterans and civic dignitaries for parades in Rochdale, Heywood, Littleborough, Middleton, Norden, Milnrow, and Wardle this year.

Each service will include Hymns, Prayers, Exhortation, The performing of the Last Post, 2-minute silence, Reveille, The Kohima Epitaph, Readings, The Blessing and the National Anthem.

Members of the public are invited to attend to show their gratitude to servicemen and women past and present.

MIDDLETON DETAILS

10.15am Assemble facing the Harbord Harbord pub (Wetherspoon's) in Long Street.

10.25am Parade leaves for Middleton Remembrance Gardens following the same route.

10.45am Service begins.
