Born at Birch Hill Hospital, Eleanor first attended Moorhouse Primary School before achieving her GCSE’s at Hollingworth (Academy). She then undertook an apprenticeship in business administration, working as an administrator for 5 years before she was unfortunately made redundant at the start of the covid-19 pandemic. However, she used this time to study for an Access to Higher Education Diploma at the Manchester College and is now in the first year of her law degree.

In her spare time, she volunteers at legal charity Support Through Court. Having joined the Lib Dems when she was 16 she has been involved in a number of local campaigns, including (bus) (car park charges) and often volunteers during community cleanups and litter picks. She also Chairs the Young Liberal, the youth branch of the Lib Dems, who campaign on issues including housing and human rights and this year have passed party policies such as Autism Support, and Accessibility in Education and Children in Care and Care Leavers. Eleanor also enjoys theatre, having performed in plays, musicals and pantomimes with Whitworth AMDS and The Curtain Theatre from a young age.
