Local Election 2022

Beverley Place

Beverley Place

Labour Party
North Heywood Ward

Bev Place has lived in Heywood since 2002. She has played an extremely active role in both Heywood and Rochdale for many years and is thrilled to have been selected as one of the three Labour candidates standing in North Heywood.

Bev is happily married with a son who is now aged 21, who went through Nursery, Primary School and Secondary School education in Heywood and has played various sports at many local Junior Clubs and sporting locations.

Bev worked in post-16 education in Rochdale and moved on to work for Rochdale’s Education Department for many years, working to help Leadership Teams to drive up standards. She is currently the Deputy CEO at a local Charity, Rochdale Connections Trust, that serves the most vulnerable residents in the most deprived communities across the Borough. As a result, she possesses a clear understanding of the socio-economic disadvantages many residents are adversely affected by and is able to navigate the help and support that is in place to best help. Indeed, she is passionate about making a difference and providing access to opportunity for all.

Bev says, “I am pleased and extremely proud to have been selected by local Labour Party members to stand for election in the North Heywood Ward. I would like to urge electors to give their 3 votes to the local Labour team of Peter Rush, Liam O’Rourke and myself. Peter and Liam have already represented North Heywood as your Councillors for several years and have a proven record of working hard all year round for local residents. I look forward to joining them as a newly elected Councillor and working alongside them.”

“I would be proud to serve the North Heywood Ward of our Town and to play a role in helping ordinary residents to live in an area where we feel safe and valued. I am hard working, caring and friendly and will work to the best of my ability to serve the local residents. Indeed, I would be honoured if you would consider voting for me on the 5th May. Thank you.”

Please remember your 3 votes for Labour at the local elections:
