Milkstone & Deeplish Ward
Being born and raised in Rochdale, it has been my passion to serve the community. I have studied at Matthew Moss High School, Rochdale Sixth Form College and I am now currently at the University of Salford studying Children’s Nursing. From a young age I have always had an interest in getting involved in community work and since high school I have been part of the student council, president of the debate club and eventually I have had the opportunity to be a member of my college student union.
As a young individual, I especially hope to motivate, empower and encourage the youth of today and advocate on their behalf. I believe that young people deserve to be heard and that they have a strong and powerful voice and given the opportunity can influence great change for the future.
I am a dedicated, compassionate and hardworking individual who will always work hard for the people of Milkstone and Deeplish to ensure that their needs are met.
My priorities for the ward are to:
- Campaign for Road Safety
- Have more enforcement on Fly-tipping
- Ensure roads and footpaths are resurfaced
- Tackle anti-social behaviour and bring more police presence onto the streets
- Encourage on more youth programs in the ward
- Support local community and voluntary groups that work to raise awareness on mental health services
- Help local businesses to flourish
It would truly be an honour to represent the residents of Milkstone and Deeplish.
