Prime Minister's meaningless NHS letter!

Gordon Brown sent a letter to all the NHS staff dated 2nd January 08 (it wasn't personally signed I might add)!
A copy of it can be read in News on Rochdale Online.
Needless to say the staff at the Rochdale Infirmary were not impressed as this was clearly just a standard letter.
He definitely has not got a clue about Rochdale or what damage these ridiculous proposals have done to the morale of the dedicated staff, which is at absolute rock bottom throughout all of the wards and hospitals in the Pennine Acute. He has no idea about the level of damn good nurses leaving the profession they once loved in the NHS, the one he has helped destroy!
Were on earth he gets the figure of 79,000 more nurses from is a mystery?
Sad he didn't take the time to look at each area individually before he sent this letter as then he might have sent a more meanigful and accurate message.
After all isn't that what we are being promised "individual" care - so were does it start from then I wonder?
Now he has brought out screening for all it sounds and looks good on paper as did the reconfiguration but who again pays the price?
