An uplifting experience at the Infirmary

Whilst working on Friday 21st December I went to join the carol service on the balcony cafe at the Rochdale Infirmary attended by the Mayor and Mayoress Peter and Helen Evans - it was also  really nice to see Councillor Ashley Dearnley there.

This was a very special Christian service shared by all faiths, ministers and priests, etc. - Methodist, Roman Catholic, Baptist and Church of England all attended and gave a reading, as did some staff and members of the public .

It was lovely to be part of such a lovely happy atmosphere to join and sing hymns and carols, and see all faiths together and to see the patients joining in .

Really well done and many thanks for bringing everyone together.

We really should do it more often!

Who knows, maybe next time  management might show some interest  and join in?
