More clarification please Wera

Dear Councillor Hobhouse,

Thank you for eventually replying to my correspondence albeit through Rochdale Online. I am saddened that you found my reply petty, but I needed clarification from you because I simply cannot remember ever having made a statement saying that I had received 1000 complaints from residents during the first week of AWC in Heywood.

However, you seem to be certain that I made the comments in the Heywood Advertiser as indicated by your reply on Rochdale Online. I have now gone back through all the editions of the Heywood Advertiser and I am afraid that I cannot find the comments you allege I made, or indeed anything remotely like the comments you seem so sure that I made.

I wonder if you could perhaps indicate to me exactly which edition of the Heywood Advertiser you allege I made the comments in. It would be helpful if you could indicate the date of the edition and the appropriate page.

If I have missed anything and you are able to find the comments, then I will be more than happy to apologise to the officers concerned. However, if you are unable to produce the evidence that I ever made the comment, then I expect an apology from you. After all, it is very important we all get our facts right, don't you think?
