Rochdalians Juniors U7s teams land four league wins in Manchester Youth Super League

Date published: 03 May 2022

The under-sevens sides at junior grassroots football club Rochdalians Juniors walked away with four league wins on Saturday (23 April) after winning their divisions in the Manchester Youth Super League.

The leagues were played as a knock out competition because they don't have league tables at this age group.

This divisional league competition started in February and the winner of the league is decided on the final day with the final two teams playing each other.

The Rochdalians Blacks, Blues, Royals and Reds teams each won their respective leagues against Jns Sports, Newton Heath, Shawside and Am19.

Andy Hill said: “With the top teams competing from all over the Northwest in the Manchester Youth Super League, Rochdalians came away with four wins in their respective leagues and all four winning the trophy.

“Nearly 100 teams competed through the season but no other club won as many as Rochdalians Juniors who have only been running for just short of two years.”

The Rochdalians Blacks, Blues, Royals and Reds each won their respective leagues against Jns Sports, Newton Heath, Shawside and Am19.
