Football: Ian Henderson nominated for Player of the Month award

Rochdale striker Ian Henderson has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for August.
Henderson’s three goals in six games included two of League One’s most aesthetically pleasing goals in August – the deftest of lobs at Tranmere and the final touch to a slick team move against Southend which was his 100th goal for Dale.

The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
All winners will be announced on Friday 13 September.
