Littleborough continue to find the going tough this season as they fell to another defeat, this time at the hands of second in the league West Park   

After only two minutes Littleborough were awarded a penalty, which was converted by Nathan Coop.

Littleborough kept the pressure on and were awarded another penalty, which Coop again converted.

West Park ran well with the ball for their threequarters to score the game’s first try. The conversion kick was successful.

Soon after Littleborough, Littleoborugh retook the lead via another Coop penalty.  

Littleborough suffered through lack of ball possession and lost their lead when the visitors converted a penalty.

Constant pressure on Littleborough in their own 22 metres area, had them constantly on the back foot and West Park scored with another penalty.

Littleborough running down the slight slope in this half took play down to opposition, Mathew Goldthorpe with the ball but when a penalty was awarded to West Park this took them up field which led to a breakaway from the lineout and a second try.    

Littleborough made player changes and clawed points back with a further penalty from Coop.    

The ball was spilled to West Park and they broke away and ran the length of the pitch for their third converted try.

Littleborough’s wing defence let them down and West Park crossed the line or their fourth try, which was conversion.

Constant pressure kept play in Littleborough’s half until the final whistle.

 Littleborough man-of-the-match’ went to Nathan Coop.
