Rugby League: Wigan St Pat's 32 - 24 Rochdale Mayfield
Date published: 06 August 2018
Try scorer Matty Chrimes
Mayfield suffered a setback in their quest to stay in the Premier Division of amateur rugby league on Saturday, slipping to a defeat away at fellow strugglers Wigan St Pat's.
Tries by Sam Butterworth, Liam Whalley, Nick Hargreaves and Matty Chrimes were not enough as the Rochdale side conceded too many points to compete.
They still have games against other relegation candidates in recent weeks – starting this Saturday against Kells at home, 2.30pm kick off.
