Whitworth runners grab all three top spots in fell race

Three students from Whitworth Community High School excelled in Whitworth Sports Festival’s Fell Race.
In the age seven to 16 category of the 3.5km circular race from Lobden Golf Course, first back was Charley Leech from Year 11 in a time of 14 mins 58 secs just outside the course record.
Second was Year 9 student Nathan Hall in a time of 16 mins and 17 secs while Sam Wellington from Year 7 was third coming home after 16 mins and 21 secs.
