Rochdale Judo Club held its annual Club Championships for over 30 children from the Junior section on Sunday 19 November.

Children from age four, in the Nippers section, through to 14 year old pre-cadets took part.

Chris Lau won Club Champion with Cara Walch runner up.

The two Most Improved Player trophies went to Callum Pratt and Kajus Latakas.

The event was refereed by Dave Harrison BJA referee.

Club Chairman, Warren Schofield (seventh Dan), thanked players, parents and coaches for enabling the club to enjoy such an "exciting festival of Judo".

He added: "All-in-all, it was a thoroughly rewarding event and a wonderful opportunity to see the whole Rochdale Judo community coming together for a truly sporting event."
