Boxing: Husnain Ali loses

Steven Connellan with Husnain Ali from Hamer Boxing Club
Hamer Boxing Club's Husnain Ali, 20, tasted defeat at Whitby Sports Club in Liverpool, against local favourite Carl McLeod of Wirral Boxing Club.
The bout was a scrappy and untidy affair, which wasn't helped by the referee who constantly stopped the action to warn the Hamer boxer of infringements that only he could see.
McLeod was constantly holding throughout the contest while also lowering his head, yet the referee saw no reason to step in and warn the local boxer.
The contest was a close affair, but McLeod got the win.
