Karate: Black Belt achiever Cameron Morgan

Date published: 21 March 2017

Cameron Morgan, 18, has gained his black belt five years after he started at The Dojo Karate Centre due to being bullied at school.

His mentor at The Dojo, Sensei Irfan Ansari, explained that Cameron trained diligently and reaped the rewards not just in overcoming his bullies but also in helping him to focus on his studies.

Cameron intends continuing in martial arts by helping children at The Dojo under the guidance of his mentor.

Sensei Ansari said: “Cameron has come a long way from his first lesson.

"He is a confident and a very pleasant young man who helps others and is always very polite.

"I’d like to thank his parents for seeking us out to overcome his bullying problem.

"I wish him the very best for the future.”
