Salford Freemasons donate £1,000 to Springhill Hospice at Home Service

Salford Freemasons presented a cheque for £1,000 on behalf of the East Lancashire Masonic Charity to Springhill Hospice at Home service.

The Salford District Chairman, Geoff Baillie along with the Salford District Charity Steward  Ian Whitehead accompanied by Rita Bradshaw, Chairman of the Friends of Springhill Hospice at Home fundraising and support group presented the cheque to provide nebulisers for the Hospice at Home staff to use for patients receiving end of life care in their own homes.

Mrs Bradshaw’s husband Peter is a Freemason in Salford.

Freemasonry actively supports Hospices throughout the country.
