Link4Life celebrates summer fun success

Date published: 03 September 2015

Link4Life is celebrating the success of their action packed Summer Fun Holiday Programme which offered children and young people the opportunity to take part in a diverse holiday activity programme, under the banner of their ‘Go4it’ Holiday Club.

The Go4it Summer Fun programme across the borough of Rochdale showcased the complete range of sports, fitness, swimming, arts and crafts activities - all on offer at any of our Link4Life Centres. Every week during the summer holidays, children and young people took part in a range of wonderful activities such as: watersports, swimming lessons and courses, adventure sports, indoor sports, dodgeball, football, basketball, mini tennis plus creative arts and crafts.

Speaking about the summer holidays, Link4Life Activities Programme Co-ordinator, Leigh-Anne Carnall said: “This year, the Go4it Summer Holiday Club, throughout its entirety, has been a huge success. With over 3,000 participants, our Go4it sessions were full of children and young people ready to get healthy, active, learn, engage and have fun. If you missed out on any of our Go4it sessions then don’t worry, we’ll be back with more in our October Half Term Holiday Clubs. Keep visiting www.link4life.org/go4it.”
