Hopwood Hall College staff before taking part in the Manchester 10k run
Thirteen Hopwood Hall College staff took part in the Manchester 10k run to raise money for Springhill Hospice.
The group trained hard over the last few months to make sure they were in top shape for the race and their efforts were definitely rewarded when every team member completed the race in under 61 minutes.
The group expects to raise over £2,000 by the time all the sponsorship money comes in.
Lindsay Hurst, Marketing and Admissions Manager at Hopwood Hall College, explained: “This is the third year in a row that a team from Hopwood Hall College has taken part.
"We were all exhausted after the race but delighted too, not only have we all broken our personal best times, we’ve once more been able to help raise money for Springhill Hospice.”
