The Hospice Fundraising team have met with members of Rochdale Round Table this week to discuss this year’s Dragon Boat race. The event will take place on Saturday 30 May at Hollingworth Lake. The fundraising team are very excited for the event as it is going to be even bigger and better than last year.

The team have also been out this week visiting Littleborough Community Primary School and Bamford Academy where Springy was thanking junior fundraisers for their efforts and donations.

The Mother’s Day Fashion show on Thursday 12 March is sold out.

Invitations for the Woman of Rochdale luncheon will be posted out early next week. This year’s speaker is Rosemary Hawthorn 'The Knicker Lady' from BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee. Call or email Melanie Caffrey for more details on 01706 641790 or melanie.caffrey@nhs.net

The promotional material for Go Green 2015 is nearly ready. The Fundraising Team have got some great stuff lined up. Keep the diary date of 15/5/15 available for a day of fundraising. Last year was Go Green - this year, Let's Go Greener.

A Hospice summer walk, previously the Pyjama Parade and the Midnight Walk, is getting planned.

The Tea Rooms are going from strength to strength with volunteers providing the back bone to the service provided in the wonderful new fundraising venture. The Tea Room is open seven days a week, from 10am until 3pm.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
The Hospice are organising a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea event at the Springhill Tea Rooms and Gift Shop. Booking for the event is essential so please contact the Fundraising Team to book a place on 01706 641790.

Thursday 5 March
Regular Giving Co-ordinator Elaine McConnell hosts a celebration of Springhill's Business Buddies Scheme which has been up and running for a year now. An
invitation is extended to all businesses within the borough. The event starts at 4.30pm at Springhill Hospice, Broad Lane, OL16 4PZ. Contact Elaine to let her know you will be coming via Elaine.mcconnell@nhs.net

Springhill Hospice Spring Fair
Springhill Hospice will open its doors to the community for their annual Spring Fair. Ever popular, this event has new stalls both inside and out and offers a lovely family day out for a fantastic cause.

Sunday 26 April
Hospice to Hospice Walk
