Lucky escape for woman as car driven by disqualified teenager hits wall

A woman had a lucky escape on Thursday night (18 December) after she had to be cut free from a car that crashed into a wall.
Police and fire crews were called to Rochdale Road, Milnrow just after 10pm to reports that a car had collided with a garden wall.
The female passenger of the car was cut out and treated at the scene by paramedics. It is understood that she did not sustain serious injury.
The driver, a 19-year-old male, was arrested for driving whilst disqualified.
