Rochdale Literature and Ideas Festival: Mark Gwynne Jones

Date published: 25 October 2014

The Rochdale Literature and Ideas Festival played host to Wordworms by Mark Gwynne Jones this afternoon (Saturday 25 October).

Held in the Children’s Library at Number One Riverside, Mark invited children into his world and held a show centred on words, how we speak and how we think.

Children and families were invited to meet the boy with the eye on his index finger, learn to escape school by becoming a cat and make friends with a giant toad.

Attended by ten children, games were also played, including creating a story from thin air as well as a book signing.
