Ainsley Harriott crashes Samantha and Kevin Elliott's wedding!

Date published: 01 September 2014

Whilst appearing at the Feel Good Festival, celebrity Chef Ainsley Harriott had time to crash a wedding at Rochdale Town Hall.

Ainsley joined the guests at the wedding of Samantha and Kevin Elliott on Saturday (30 August) afternoon and spoke to the couple and posed for a few pictures.

Bride, Samantha said: “He came over and said hello and had a chat with us and then we managed to get some pictures with him. We have some really good ones so that’s nice.”

Samantha and Kevin’s three children Katie, Amy and William were amongst the guests celebrating the wedding and were delighted to meet Ainsley.

Katie, Amy and William described Ainsley as “very funny and friendly” and added “it was very kind that he came over and took the time out to say hello and meet us all. He is a lovely man.”

The couple had planned their wedding before the dates for the Feel Good Festival were announced.

Samantha added: “I was a bit nervous at first when I heard the festival would be at the same time because I went last year and knew that a lot of people would go. Then when I heard Scouting For Girls were headlining, I was worried that it would be busy and turn into chaos.”

Thankfully, Samantha and Kevin’s day didn’t turn into chaos and the couple had a lovely afternoon.

“We have been together for a long time so it was nice. It was a lovely day and I am glad we did it at the same time as the festival. It was nice to have all of the different activities going on outside,” said Samantha.
