Feel Good Festival: ‘Sensational Seasons’ creativity tent

Date published: 29 August 2014

Link4Life and Touchstones Rochdale have been giving youngsters the opportunity to make seasonal crafts at the Feel Good Festival.

Located outside Rochdale Town Hall, the creativity tent offers children and families the chance to take part in free and fun activities as well as having balloon models made by Balloonimals.

Yvonne Hardman, from Touchstones, said: “Our activities are linked to our Four Seasons in One Day exhibition that is currently going on. It has been quite fitting to be doing activities relating to the seasons with the weather today.”

Despite the weather changing its mind between rain and shine throughout the day, the tent has been busy with people getting involved all day.

“We have been quite busy actually and everyone seems to be enjoying what we have on offer” said Yvonne.

Touchstones gets involved with the festival every year and are pleased to be involved again this year.

Yvonne added: “There seems to be a lot of variety this year and that’s good. It is good to be involved in and we try and do something every year. We are expecting to be busy tomorrow.”

The creativity tent will be at the festival between 10am and 5pm tomorrow (Saturday 30 August).
