Saba Salam joins Springhill Hospice as Assistant Community Fundraiser

Date published: 10 July 2014

Saba Salam has joined Springhill Hospice as Assistant Community Fundraiser.

In Saba’s first week she got to grips with a fun day, a giant tombola, a school visit and she also helped out with the preparations for the Springhill Hospice Pyjama Parade.

Saba is already involved in some great new projects, including ‘Tea at 3’ which is something she is planning for Hospice Care Week in October.

Lillie Winterbottom, Community Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice, said: “Saba will be a great asset to the fundraising team here at Springhill.”

“Her enthusiasm is endless and she is passionate about the work of the Hospice; these are exactly the characteristics you need to be a part of the Springhill Hospice fundraising team.”

“Saba has the willingness to muck in and help with just about everything. She’s definitely an asset.”

Saba passed the final fundraising test with flying colours as Springhill’s Chief Fundraiser, Springy the Frog, gave her a big thumbs up.
