Member of Youth Parliament (MYP) for Rochdale, Leon Holinrake and Deputy MYP Tabitha Rushden, described their experiences as once in a lifetime. They said: “We would like to give a special thank you to Rochdale Youth Service for the opportunity. This is an experience we will never forget.”

Rochdale Youth Workers, Mohammed Sheraz and Dianne Higgins believe thatmore events like this are needed to get young people involved in politics.

Mohammed Sheraz said: "They are the next generation and we need to work on raising political interest amongst them.”

Nadia Shahid, a member of Rochdale Youth Forum commented: "Regardless of what party you support, listening to the Prime Ministers speech was inspiring and the issues he reflected on made me proud of being a BritishAsian.”

The remainder of the night was enjoyed with a three course meal in a lively atmosphere.
