Members of Sahiwal Working Party meet Consul General of Pakistan, Zahoor Ahmed
A delegation of the Sahiwal Working Party and Friends of Sahiwal, led by the Chairman Councillor Sultan Ali, visited the Consul General's office in Manchester and discussed various projects - water filtration plant, education, sewing centres and a police training project - which the Sahiwal Working Party has developed.
Zahoor Ahmed, the Consul General of Pakistan, said he was very pleased to meet with the delegates and assured them he would do whatever was within his power to do and communicate with Pthe akistani authorities to extend their full support to these and future projects.
Councillor Sultan Ali thanked him for his support and said there was need to have an effective communication between the Consul General, authorities in Pakistan and members of the Sahiwal Working Party.
