Hair-raising show in aid of hospice

Hair and Media Make-up students from Hopwood Hall College have put on a dazzling style show to showcase their outstanding work and raise money for Springhill Hospice.

The thirteen students from the College’s Image department showed family friends and fellow pupils the practical work which went towards one of their study units. They each had full rein of their chosen theme, developing all the ideas for hair, make up and costume ideas themselves.

Springhill Hospice is the Image department’s chosen charity for any fund raising events the students organise throughout the year.

Lizz North, the College’s Level 3 Hair and Media Make Up Coordinator said: “Their achievements have made a big impact on the department; some of the students have been accepted into university to follow their dreams as a makeup artist and with work of this quality we’re sure they’ll obtain their dreams.”
