Caravan and car destroyed in Whitworth fire

A caravan and a car have been completely destroyed by a fire in Whitworth, during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 21 July).
The fire on Fern Isle Close involved one caravan and three cars, as well as affecting two other cars, panelling of a nearby caravan and three wheelie bins.
Firefighters used three hose reels, three breathing apparatus, lighting and hearth kit to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for over an hour and requested attendance of the police due to the fire being of suspicious origin.
