Blue BMW stolen from Heywood

A blue BMW was stolen by thieves from a Heywood address during the early hours of Wednesday morning (22 May).

Shortly before 4.20am, police were called to reports of a burglary at a property on Father Ryan Drive in Heywood.

A window had been smashed and a blue BMW was stolen.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Usman Hussain, whose car had been taken, said: “They smashed my side window, took the keys, ran and escaped with the car.

"It has really affected my family; my wife is shook up and can’t be left alone. Our car has been spotted around Edenfield Road, Norden.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident number 279 of 22/05/2019, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
