Volunteers of all ages came together to help clean up the Wardleworth area of Rochdale on the Thursday 17 April.
Mojahid Ali, branch manager of One Nation Rochdale said: “We had volunteers as young as two years old and in around three hours we filled 21 bags of rubbish.
“The litter pick was absolutely brilliant.
“I would like to say a special thank you to all the volunteers who worked hard.
“I was surprised to see volunteers from as young as the age of two.
“Also, a big thank you to One Nation and The Rochdale Islamic Academy for putting this together.
“We are hoping to hold more regular litter picks. It is our responsibility as a community to keep our areas clean.”
