Petrus Community is collecting Easter Eggs for children less fortunate
A homelessness charity is calling on the Rochdale community to help spread some chocolate cheer this Easter.
Petrus Community is collecting Easter Egg donations for less fortunate children, including those known to Rochdale Social Services.
The appeal follows the success of the charity’s Christmas appeal which has been running for a number of years. Last Christmas, the Rochdale community donated over 450 gifts for children who were unlikely to receive one.
Pam Barrett, Petrus Community Store Manager, said: “Following the success of our Christmas appeal, we thought it would be great to collect Easter Eggs too.
“We hope the Rochdale community will help us ensure that there is plenty of chocolate for every child this Easter.”
Donations can be dropped off at the Petrus Community Store, Hamer Lane, Rochdale, OL16 2UL.
