Gingerbread Houses made by Year 6 from St John with St Michael CE Primary School in Shawforth
Creative children in Year 6 at St John with St Michael CE Primary School in Shawforth have been making gingerbread houses in their after-school cookery club.
The gingerbread houses were assembled with great care and precision and decorated with lots of lovely delights.
Naomi Kenyon from St John with St Michael said: “The finished houses looked fabulous.
“The children also learnt the history behind the tradition of gingerbread houses being made at Christmas time and looked at alternative decorations and ingredients to make ‘Healthier Option’ gingerbread houses.”
